  1. The entire novel is divided in two terms and taught accordingly.

In the forthcoming session it is proposed that the students will read the novel during summer vacation. In the first week of the school's reopening the English classes will be used for discussion and thereafter practise of dramatization in groups. Each group will make a presentation. The best group from each section will make a presentation for other classes as form of Literature Appreciation.

A reading of the text in the class along with detailed explanation with emphasis on vocabulary, important references and archaic words.Worksheets are given per chapter for the teacher to assess the Formation of Knowledge. These are in the form of short answers/Fill ups/Matching/Choosing the best option/Give opinion/Prediction etc.

This is followed by brainstorming on the theme, character, plot .

Students are also taught to critically appreciate the novels and trained to be able to write long answers.
